My child has never skied, which course should I enroll in?
He is between 3 and 5 years old: I am registering him in the Piou Piou Club.
He is over 5 years old: I am registering him in Ourson.
What is the program for the day at Club Piou Piou?
The day's program is established while respecting the children's rhythms.
Outside of the periods of learning to ski, the time is divided between gourmet breaks, bathroom breaks, games and discovery of the snow and mountain environment...
What equipment for the child?
Shoes that fit with just 1 pair of socks.
Skis: spatulas at chin level. Trust professionals for adjustments.
No sticks at Club Piou Piou.
The helmet is essential.
How do I dress my child?
Warm, comfortable and waterproof jacket, overalls or suit.
Mittens rather than finger gloves
Mask or sunglasses (attached with a cord). Anti-UV index 3 minimum.
Can we attend the sessions?
Stay "hidden" behind a slalom pole to observe your child: it's human, your little one will be able to spot you faster than you think and this risks triggering his tears or taking away his desire to ski and ski. Have fun with his new friends! Instead, ask for a short assessment at the end of the session. What to do if the child cries on the first day?
The piou piou club remains a group course that each child discovers at their own pace. Some will be more active than others, don't be afraid if you see your child waiting a little he cannot always be in action, the instructors will take care of him and will encourage him to return gently to the others. The professionals at Piou Piou Clubs have enough experience to recognize the tears of separation linked to fear of the unknown.
